Some time ago I wrote about the importance of having a short and
pertinent title tag (you can read it here).
The title tag might be the most important factor on the header of a
site, but all the other meta tags (description, keywords and author)
should also be considered. They will not make a huge impact on your
search ranking but every little help should be used to fine tune your
blog.

Most of the mainstream websites, let alone blogs, are starting to
use social bookmark buttons on their sites (the image on the right
comes from BusinessWeek). While those
buttons are not a guarantee to hit the Digg or Delicious front page
they certainly help people that want to share your articles, making it
possible to bookmark them directly from your site.
If you are not using those buttons on your site yet I suggest that you give it a try. There is a site called iFeedReader

0 Is your blog cross-browser compatible?
People usually design a website or a blog for one specific browser,
and that is the browser they use to navigate. Should they load the site
on a different browser, however, it is probable that some unpleasant
surprises will appear.
Most of the new websites are based on Cascading Style Sheets (CSS),
a technique that allows developers to have more control over the look
and feel of the pages, making sure that the elements are consistent
throughout the site.
Unfortunately not all browsers interpret CSS commands on the same
way, creating discrepancies such as misaligned sidebars, overlapping
